Harry Sullivan
Harry has had a 50 year love affair with the blues. From his earliest 3 rd grade church choir, through the rock years of the sixties, the country-rock 70's to current day his guiding influence has been the blues. His musical tastes include everything from George Gershwin to Frank Zappa. Having spent many years of his youth singing in choirs, choruses and even a barbershop harmony group, Harry's mature voice brings out all of his musical experiences. Guitar influences include Mike Bloomfield, Taj Mahal and Jeff Beck.
Alan Beilis
Alan Beilis has been playing bass for well over 30 years. His musical influences are derived from The Beatles (Paul McCartney is his idol), The Eagles, Don Henley, as well as others too numerous to mention, He's played a variety of musical styles including blues, jazz, classic rock and country. His style of play is based upon simplicity (“the fewer the notes played, the better”). With that, he brings his own feel/style to the bottom of Bakin' Fat's music.
Peter John
has been singing since he was a child. He has
always loved all types of music. He has performed in original
and cover Rock Bands, as a solo artist in Country Music, spent
several years as a lead vocalist in a Gospel Choir and in a
Gospel Quartet, has written and performed as a Folk Duo and now
feels as if he has found his home performing Blues. His
influences range from Anita Baker to Prince to Led
Zeppelin. Peter feels that he has always sought the freedom to
express the deep vocal emotions that are found in Blues music.
Paul Levinsky
Paul got his first drum set in 1966 and
hasn’t stopped playing since. Paul’s philosophy of music is that
any music played well is worth hearing and learning something
from. His style is derived from Jimi Hendrix to John Coltraine
to Count Basie to the Grateful Dead with a big dose of Tower of
Power and Howlin Wolf in between.
